THREE TENORS IN MORAVIA
You will be treated to performances by stars of the world's opera stages: tenor Paolo Lardizzone, who shines at the famous Arena di Verona in Italy; tenor Mickael Spadaccini, a star of European opera houses; and tenor Aleš Briscein, a soloist at the National Theater in Prague and one of today's most sought-after tenors.
They will perform in a brand-new concert project, The Three Tenors in Moravia. Come and listen to the most beautiful tenor voices of today.
As every year, the charitable work of the ALSA association, which cares for patients with ALS, will be presented.
The evening will be hosted by Monika Timková together with the festival's artistic director, Michal Lieberzeit. The concert is divided into two separate parts, each lasting one hour, with a 30-minute intermission.

MICKAEL SPADACCINI
A tenor of Italian-Belgian descent, he began his career at the age of 19. He graduated from the Royal Conservatory of Liège (Conservatoire royal de Liège) in Belgium under the guidance of Nicolas Christou. He had the opportunity to work on vocal technique and interpretation with renowned artists such as Nicola Martinucci, Peter Dvorský, Angelo Lo Forese, Nadine Denise, Mirella Freni, Carlo Bergonzi, Giorgio Merighi, Nunzio Todisco, Gianfranco Cecchele, Silvano Carroli, and Salvatore Fisichella.
He made his international debut in 2008 as Ismael (G. Verdi: Nabucco) alongside opera singer Dimitra Theodossiou in a production by the Teatro municipale Romolo Valli in Reggio Emilia, Italy, conducted by Michele Mariotti and directed by Daniele Abbado. Since 2008, Mickael Spadaccinni has performed more than 35 leading roles in his repertoire around the world, including Werther in Massenet's opera of the same name, Verdi's characters Radame (Aida), Macduff (Macbeth), the Duke of Mantua (Rigoletto), and Alfredo (La Traviata), Puccini's Des Grieux (Manon Lescaut), Mascagni's Turiddu (Cavalleria Rusticana), Leoncavallo's Canio (I Pagliacci), Bizet's Don José (Carmen), Gounod's Faust (Faust) and Romeo (Romeo and Juliet), Janáček's Števa (Her Stepdaughter), and many others.
He has performed at the most prestigious festivals and opera houses around the world (Salzburg, Buenos Aires, Rome, Minsk, Paris, Ghent, Vilnius, Dresden, Amsterdam, Mumbai, Bucharest, Skopje, Prague, Warsaw, and many others). He has collaborated with conductors such as Matteo Beltrami, Antonello Allemandi, Riccardo Frizza, Will Humburg, Cyril Diederich, Tadeusz Kozłowski, Stefano Ranzani, Christian Thielemann, Ira Levin, Patrick Fournillier, and Sesto Quatrini.
He is currently also collaborating with the National Theater Brno on Offenbach's The Tales of Hoffmann and Verdi's Othello and Don Carlos, with the Lithuanian National Opera on Bizet's Carmen, and with the Teatro Lirico di Cagliari on Licinio Refice's opera Cecilia.
PAOLO LARDIZZONE
This Italian tenor was born in Militello in Val di Catania, Sicily. He is one of the winners of the 2012 Grandi Voci International Competition in Salzburg and the Pia Tebaldini International Competition in Brescia, Italy.
He began his opera singing studies with Giacomo Rocchetti and later refined his technique with Nazzareno Antinori at the Beniamino Gigli Academy in Recanati and with Giorgio Merighi in Jesi. He was selected for master classes with the renowned Renato Bruson at the Teatro dell'Opera Sperimentale in Spoleto.
He currently lives in Plzeň, Czech Republic, and the Italian town of Camerata Picena.
He made his Italian debut in the role of Manrico in Verdi's Il Trovatore at the Del Castello Sforzesco Festival in Milan in 2007.
Between 2007 and 2012, he studied and performed many roles, but 2013 marked a significant milestone in his international career, as he began performing at numerous opera houses and international festivals, primarily in Eastern Europe and Asia. Among others, he has performed as Mario Cavaradossi (G. Puccini: Tosca) at the Ente Luglio Musicale Trapanese and the Teatro Lirico Sperimentale in Spoleto; the Duke of Mantua (G. Verdi: Rigoletto) at the Teatro Comunale in Varese and Open Opera 2019 in Plovdiv; Edgardo (G. Donizetti: Lucia di Lammermoor) at the Teatro Masini in Faenza. Paolo Lardizzone's other roles include Enzo Grimaldo (A. Ponchielli: La Gioconda); Turiddu (P. Mascagni: Cavalleria Rusticana); Canio (R. Leoncavallo: I Pagliacci); Pollione (V. Bellini: Norma) at the Krakow Opera; Pinkerton (G. Puccini: Madame Butterfly) at the Polish National Opera in Warsaw; Calaf (G. Puccini: Turandot) at the Yekaterinburg Academic State Opera and Ballet Theatre, the Astana Opera, and the Bangkok Dance and Music Festival.
In 2015, he received a nomination for the Thalia Award for his portrayal of Edgar in Giacomo Puccini's opera of the same name. The J. K. Tyl Theater in Pilsen honored him with the Theater Director's Award for his exceptional artistic performance in the role of Pinkerton in Puccini's famous Madame Butterfly.
Since 2013, there has been a consensus among the public and critics: "… like a young José Carreras."
ALEŠ BRISCEIN
He originally studied clarinet and saxophone, and later opera singing at the Prague Conservatory. He continued his studies at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen. He began his professional career in 1995 with his debut at the Prague State Opera as Tamino in Mozart's The Magic Flute, where he quickly took on many roles.
During a tour of Japan in 1999, he appeared as Tamino and, a year later, as Kudryash in Janáček's Káťa Kabanová. At the premiere of this opera, he was accompanied by the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, which also selected him for a performance of Janáček's opera From the House of the Dead in 2003. That same year, he sang in Jules Massenet's Manon in Vancouver and in Donizetti's Don Pasquale in Cyprus. In October 2004, he began a collaboration with the Opéra national de Paris, where he successfully performed as Jeník in Smetana's The Bartered Bride and subsequently appeared in a number of productions there.
In 2008, he performed in Janáček's operas at the Teatro Real in Madrid and in Mexico City, and toured Japan with the Opéra national de Paris. In 2010, he sang the role of Jeník in Valencia and appeared in Berg's Wozzeck in Antwerp. During the 2011/2012 season, he sang the role of the Prince in Dvořák's Rusalka at the Vienna Volksoper. The following season, he appeared in Janáček's opera Jenůfa at the Bavarian State Opera and at the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb, and performed in Smetana's opera The Two Widows in Nantes, France.
In the 2013/2014 season, he performed at the Komische Oper Berlin in the role of Ferrando in Mozart's Così fan tutte. He appeared in Jenůfa at the Graz Opera in Graz, the Frankfurt Opera in Frankfurt am Main, as well as in Bologna and Rome, Budapest, the Theater an der Wien in Vienna, and the Deutsche Oper Berlin. He also performs in Prague, Brno, Ostrava, Liberec, and elsewhere. He has appeared at a number of major international music festivals, such as the London PROMS, the Tiroler Festspiele Erl, and the Prague Spring International Music Festival.
In 2012, he received the Thalia Award in the opera category for his outstanding performance as Romeo in Romeo and Juliet at the Moravian-Silesian National Theatre in Ostrava[6] and in 2014 for his role as Jaromír in The Fall of Arkun at the National Theatre in Prague. That same year, he won the Annual Award from the Opera PLUS website. In 2018, he received the Austrian Musiktheaterpreis for his performance in opera[8] and a Commemorative Medal for promoting the music of Leoš Janáček both in the Czech Republic and abroad.
